History

The North American Imaging in Multiple Sclerosis Cooperative (NAIMS) was established in 2012 with the support of the Race to Erase Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.

The overarching goals of NAIMS are to:

  • Bring together a range of imaging expertise focusing on the study of multiple sclerosis (MS)

  • Develop reliable imaging-based surrogates for disease progression and treatment monitoring in MS

  • Accelerate the pace of MS research in North America by creating standardized imaging protocols for use in clinical research

  • Further the biological understanding of MS through imaging

  • Improve the clinical practice of MS imaging

Thank you to the NAIMS partners!
